While our core mission is community service (our motto “Service Above Self”), the glue that keeps Rotarians together and willing to devote their time to service is the fun we have and the friendships we make.  Many of our members have made lasting friendships through their long association with our club.  Some of our members joined the club soon after moving to the Sunshine Coast, and they quickly found this to be a great way to meet people and expand their circle of friends.

 

Mooloolaba Rotary is a great example of “having fun”.  We enjoy each other’s company at our weekly meetings, at monthly social occasions ranging from BBQs to specialty dinner nights, attending shows locally or in Brisbane, barefoot bowls nights and weekends away to name a few.

Our partners are welcome and involved in all club service and social activities.  Many life-long friendships have been created amongst our partners, who also enjoy partners social activities several times a year.
